Walter Day joins us this week bringing us his thoughts on the state of arcades as well as some insight into the inner workings of Twin Galaxies. Walter also discusses "The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters" and lets us know the truth about the story portrayed in the film. This is definitely a memorable interview. The crew brings us two new segments this week. "Rant of the Week" kicks off the new segments and this weeks Rant is from Avault Staffer Michael Moody. Listen in to hear him sound off.

Joining us on this weeks show is Nathan Fouts from Mommy's Best Games. Nathan is the creator of Weapon of Choice, the xbox live community game.  He fills us in on what it's like to be an independent developer trying to get started and he fills the crew in on where he got the ideas for some of the crazy enemies in Weapon of Choice. He also announces a contest he is starting so be sure to listen in to get the full details. The crew gives their thoughts on the Lord of the Rings: Conquest demo as well as discuss where they like to read their video game magazines. After two weeks of no news coverage we come to you this week with an extra long show. Our guest this week is Tom Mustaine from Escalation Studios. He fills us in on his past, his views on the industry, as well as some of the business side of the industry and how it works. He also discusses Severity, the FPS that has been in production for many years. He doesn't give us everything but what he does discuss you won't want to miss. We fill you in on what Santa brought us for Christmas, or in one's case what he didn't bring. We also get into the wealth of news including Braid coming to the PC, Nintendo's Video DL service, and much more. There is some Mirror's Edge discussion as well as some chat about the FPS genre in general. This is the first show of the new year and it's a keeper.

Its the holiday season and that means its the end of the year. We wrap it up in style with a jam packed show full of guests and Top 3 lists.  Joining us on the show are two reviewers from Avault, Michael Moody and Christopher Troilo. We also have appearances by Avault Editor-in-Chief Michele White and Assistant Editor Michael Smith. All give their thoughts on 2008, discuss a few of their favorite games of the year, as well as look to the upcoming year in the world of gaming.

We come to you this week with another loaded show. Our guest this week is Mike Neumann the Creative Director and Writer for the Brother in Arms series created by Gearbox. Mike gives us the inside scoop on what its like trying to create a story driven game as well as how they check for how well thier games sell. He was a great guest and you should definitely enjoy the interview. We give you some impressions of Call of Duty: World at War and discuss the new Prince of Persia game. We also chat about Nintendos claim that they are going to cater to hardcore gamers in 2009 and give early impressions on the 4 titles that they claim will do this. Once again we have another great show for you guys. Unfortunately Tom McMahon from Play 'N Trade could not join us this week. However we were fortunate enough to get Justin Lueders who was the Project Lead on Fervent Interactive's "Totem" which is available on Xbox Live Arcade. Justin fills us in on what its like being an independent developer and how Microsoft's XNA Studio and Community Games work. We discuss the big DLC announcements involving GTAIV and Fallout 3 as well as ponder the the question of whether the game industry as a whole is profitable. Billy and Turks go head-to-head in our second trivia contest. Listen in to see who will be singing next. Hope you enjoy!

This week we continue our industry interviews with none other than John Romero. John discusses his history with gaming and lets us know how he got started. We find out what games he's digging now as well as learn that he is a huge WOW fan. He doesn't give us much on his upcoming MMO project but we do get a timeframe for when we will find out what it is. We tried to fit in as many of your questions as we could.   Chris gives us his impressions of Left 4 Dead as well as the new releases for the upcoming week. We finally got our hands on the New Xbox Experience and we let you know what we think. Plus we have a great contest involving next weeks guest so be sure to listen in after the interview for details.

We have a big show this week! We welcome Pete Hines and Emil Pagliarulo from Bethesda on the show to talk about Fallout 3 and answer some of your questions. I think you guys will love some of the stories they have to tell about their history with Avault and how they came to be with Bethesda.
